C40 BREATHE CITIES
C40 Breathe Cities brought together 10 cities from Southeast Asia, Europe, and Latin America to share solutions for cleaner air, with the participation of Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt.
The event, held in Bangkok at Jim Thompson Art Center and BACC ((Bangkok Art & Culture Center), included visits to Benchakitti Park, a former industrial site turned green lung, and the Air Quality Information Centre, where real-time data drives action.
Launched by C40 Cities (a global network, New York-based, founded in London in 2005, uniting nearly 100 major world cities), the Clean Air Fund, and Bloomberg Philanthropies, Breathe Cities aims to cut urban air pollution and emissions by 30% by 2030, creating healthier, more equitable urban living.
The event was attended by Expertise France.
