On May 12, 2023, the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) held its final major campaign rally in Bangkok ahead of Thailand’s general election.

​

The election, scheduled for May 14, marked the first national vote after nearly a decade of government led or supported by the PPRP, a civil-military political party that came to power following the 2014 coup.
