On April 2, 2025, Nepal’s Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli made an official visit to Thailand — the first by a Nepalese head of government in over six decades.

​

Hosted by Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra at the Government House in Bangkok, the visit marked a renewed commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
