PRIDE IN BANGKOK

                   

 

Thousands of participants gathered in central Bangkok on June 1, 2024, for the annual Pride parade under the theme “The Celebration of Love.” The event advocated for marriage equality and highlighted five key messages: Love Wins, Love for Identity, Love for Dignity, Love for Peace & Earth, and Love for Freedom.

As Thailand moves toward legalizing same-sex marriage, the parade reflected growing public support for LGBTQ+ rights and equality, positioning the country to potentially become the first in Southeast Asia to recognize marriage equality.
